03.15.

 Már az első napunk tartalmasan, és kalandosan telt. Reggel 9:15-kor gyülekeztünk a Budapest Liszt Ferenc Repülőtéren. A becsekkolásnál és az ellenőrzéseknél minden rendben volt, majd volt egy pár óránk még a gépünk indulásáig, addig tudtunk nézelődni az ottani boltokban, inni-enni, és pihenni. Majd átmentünk a kapuhoz, ahonnan indult a repülőnk, viszont egy fél órát csúszott a gép indulása. A repülőutunk nagyon jól telt, gyönyörű tájakat láthattunk fentről, és azoknak végképp nagy élmény volt, akik életükben most repültek először. Miután leszálltunk, a transzferünk már ott várt minket, és elvitt mindenkit a háza elé. Ezek után volt mindenkinek ideje, hogy megismerje a fogadó családját, és mindenki át tudta adni az ajándékokat, amiket otthonról hoztunk, ezek hungarikumok voltak leginkább. Vacsora után a Love sign-nál találkozott mindenki, hogy tudjunk egy kicsit beszélgetni egymással, és az oda vezető úton már kicsit fel tudtuk fedezni a várost, a tengerpartot, és a máltai emberek különösen furcsa közlekedését. Majd 9-10 óra környékén elindultunk haza, mivel nagyon elfáradtunk a sok sétától, és most a szállásról írva biztosan tudjuk, hogy jól fogunk aludni...

Our first day was already full of activities and it was really adventurous. At 9:15 in the morning we gathered at the Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport. During the check-ins and the controls everything went great, then we had a few hours before our flight departed, so we could look around at the duty free area, eat, drink and relax a little bit. We went over to the gate, from where we could get on our plane, unfortunately, there was a bit of a delay so we had to wait a half an hour before we could have taken off. The flight was pleasant, we have seen wonderful landscapes from up there, it was a trully amazing experience for those who have never ever had a plane trip before. After we landed, our transfer was waiting for us there and it took us to our host families' houses. Then everybody had a little bit of time to get to know their host families and to give them the gifts that we brought from home. Mostly they were so called "hungarikums", in other words some typical hungarian dessert, food or drink. After dinner we were meeting at the "Love Sign", so we could have talked a little with each other at the end of the day. During the way to the meeting point we had a chance to explore the city a bit, the beach and by the way the maltesen people's weird driving habits. Around 9 or 10 o'clock at night we went back to our families. Since we are really tired thanks to the long walks, right now writing from our accomodations we know for sure that we will have a good night sleep...
